Window Seat Privacy Policy

What we collect

Window Seat collects only the following, and only to keep the app working well:

• Problem reports and feedback. If you choose to report a problem or send feedback from inside the app, we receive what you write, the screenshot if you include one, and technical details: the app version, your device model and system version, and what the app was showing at the time. Reports are not linked to your identity; the form does not ask for your name or email. We use them only to fix problems.

We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to track you across other apps and websites. It is stored on Google Firebase, which we use to run the service.

What stays on your device

Your settings and progress are saved on your device only. Crash and performance diagnostics the app records stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Apple

Window Seat is distributed through the App Store. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. That sharing is controlled by you and covered by Apple's privacy policy.

If you contact us

If you write to us with the support form, we receive your name, your email address, your message and the screenshot if you attach one. If you email us, we receive your email address and message. Either way we use them only to reply to you. Messages are kept on Google Firebase and in our email, and we delete them on request.

Children

Window Seat is suitable for all ages and collects nothing that identifies anyone, including children.

Changes

If what the app collects ever changes, we'll update this page and the App Store privacy details at the same time, before the change ships.
