Train de Charlevoix

Along the St. Lawrence, Québec City to La Malbaie.

A wide river with a rocky island and small boats, seen through a train window with red curtains.

Québec City → La Malbaie, along the north shore of the St. Lawrence

A new journey in Québec, along the St. Lawrence from Québec City to La Malbaie. The line runs right along the water: past the Montmorency falls, the farm strips of the Côte-de-Beaupré, the salt marsh at Cap-Tourmente and the cliffs and tunnels below the Laurentians.

The tide comes and goes on the river flats, and islands, ships and the ferry pass on the water.
